My child loves pasta, and can quite happily gorge on just that by itself. As we know that isn’t really very balanced though, and she would be lacking protein and other nutrients. If we put small pieces of salmon, veg and sauce with it, she’d often spit out everything but the pasta (most of the time anyway).
So what is the trick I hear you ask? Blending! Yes, put the salmon/chicken/beef or whatever the targeted food the child wouldn’t normally eat by itself, and blend it with their favourite sauce. They gobble it down in no time. And you can be assured they received a nutritious meal!
